This month we will try something new – Shiraz, a lovely Middle Eastern restaurant that melds the tastes of Iran with those of the Mediterranean.

About The Event
Appropriately named “Shiraz” after the Persian city of the same name, Restaurante Shiraz is located in El Carmen not far from the Mercado Central. We will each sample 3 of their signature starters (a soup, a tostada with pesto, and salad with pear). We will then have our choice of main courses, either costillar (pork ribs) or salmon or a vegetarian entree (please specify your main course when you register). Our lunch also includes coffee or dessert, and one drink (beer, wine, or soft drink).
The cost is €19 per person; payment is in cash only (please bring exact change if at all possible.
