About The Event
Mahjong is a game that originated in China. It is commonly played by four players. The game and its regional variants (there are many!) are widely played throughout Eastern and South Eastern Asia and are becoming more and more popular in Western countries. Similar to Western card games like rummy, mahjong is a game of skill, strategy, and calculation - and involves a bit of luck! It is fun, it is social, it is easy.– If you’ve played another form of mahjong and want to learn something new, feel free to join us just be sure to contact Jane Buck to register for the group..
