The General Federation of Women’s Clubs is an international organisation dedicated to community improvement, enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service.  It 1890 Jane Cunningham Croly invited all the USA clubs to federate.  In affiliated clubs throughout N. America and more than a dozen countries across the world, there are now 100,000+ members, working in their own communities to support the arts, preserve natural resources, advance education, promote healthy lifestyles, encourage civic involvement, and work toward world peace and understanding.

Mothers, daughters, business and community leaders, women of diverse nationalities, interests, talents, and backgrounds – are all united in community improvement through volunteer service.

Unlike other non-profit organizations, we have total freedom to shape programmes and projects to suit the local, individual situation.

In 2010, members worldwide volunteered 8.8+ million hours on 112,000 projects, and donated more than $30.4 million in both monetary and in-kind donations.
